Welcome to the registration form for Jewellers Den, a new start-up feature within the International Jewellery Fair!

 

There is a limited opportunity available to a small number of people.

 

In order to be considered, please complete the following information to apply to be part of the Jewellers Den.

Please note that the following conditions must be met to qualify:

·         Your business must be a new start-up, established after July 1, 2022.

·         You must upload the Jewellers Den Questionnaire and Business Plan.

·         All designs/products need to be unique and designed or conceived by the applicant.

·         You must meet any other relevant terms and conditions.

Please also note that because of the nature of the project - and its exclusivity -  not all applications will be accepted, and we are capping the shortlist at 18 companies.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR JEWELLERS DEN - Criteria 1. Entry is open to any designer, design company, student, company, or individual who matches the following criteria: 2. They are a citizen of Australia or New Zealand 3. Their primary residential address is based in Australia or New Zealand 4. They are currently active within the jewellery market in either Australia or New Zealand or both. 5. Their Business was not registered prior to 1st July, 2022 6. At time of entry, the Applicant has no retail store clients. 7. Upon Submission, the Applicant understands that the documentation and information provided will be used by a panel to determine if all criteria is met. 8. Expertise Events Pty Ltd (The Organiser) reserves the right to request further evidence around criteria for the application for the Jewellers Den. 9. Entry Period: March 6, 2023 to July 21, 2023. 10. Entry Fee – There are no fees for a successful applicant to have a presence at the International Jewellery Fair. 11. If successful the Applicant will provide the Organiser with a portfolio of images to use in promotion of their attendance at the event. 12. Successful Applicants will prepare a 5-minute Pitch presentation that will be presented to a panel of judges on Sunday, 22nd August 2023. 13. All decisions of the judging panel shall be final and shall not be subject to reconsideration or explanation. 14. Jewellers Den Application confirmations will be confirmed by July 27th, 2023. 15. All applicants will support themselves in being able to attend the International Jewellery Fair on all three days of the event (19 - 21 August, 2023). 16. All applicants accept that they will be photographed at the International Jewellery Fair and those images may be used for promotional and marketing purposes. Additionally, images supplied may be used in promotional and marketing activities and the applicants grant full rights to use the images to Expertise Events when they apply. 17. If any Applicant has any conflict of interest with any of the judges, this must be made known prior to the presentation of the pitch being made. 15. Applicants acknowledge their submissions may be used for publicity purposes and may be called for comment by authorised representatives of the Jewellers Den. 17. Expertise Events Pty Ltd has the right to amend these terms and conditions at their discretion. 18. The Organiser does not make any claims on copyright or intellectual property of the Applicants who apply. 19. Upon submission, the Applicant gives permission to the Organiser to publish, exhibit and promote their name, image and the content of the submission. The Applicant acknowledges that the Organiser has the right to reproduce materials in whole or part without payment of release or licensing fees to the holder of publication rights or copyright. 21. Upon submission, the Applicant agrees to indemnify the Organiser from and against any and all liability arising as a result of their entry or infringing the intellectual property rights of any third party. 23. An entry submitted as a collection shall be assessed and judged as a whole and not individually. 25. Expertise Events trusts that all information supplied by the Applicant is true and correct. The Applicant bears the responsibility for any issues or damages caused because of them entering false information on their registration form. 26. To be considered for the final pitch, the Applicant must submit a business plan using the template provided. All information provided within the business plan is strictly confidential and will only be viewed by the selection and judging panel.
